Why is church important?
Scripture references in blue.

Why Church Matters

The Bible shows that God places believers in the church for growth, encouragement, and service (1). Attending church isn’t optional—it’s essential for your spiritual well-being (2).

You’ll be built up through worship, teaching, serving, and sharing with other Christians.
Hearing the preached Word develops faith (3). The church is Jesus’ bride, the family and army of God (3,4,5).

God has a place for you in His family (7). Get involved! Join a small group, serve others, and build relationships (8).

Prayer:

“Lord, thank You for placing me in Your church. Help me find my place, serve faithfully, and grow strong among Your people.”

Reflection:
Write how you will get more connected at church, whether through groups, serving, or building friendships.
