What does it mean to be saved? Scripture references in blue.

WELCOME TO NEW LIFE

Deciding to invite Jesus into your heart is the most significant moment you'll ever experience. You are “born again”—meaning not just a fresh start but receiving new spiritual life through faith in Christ (1,2). In fact, the Bible describes you as a “new creation" (3). Scripture says that all of heaven celebrates your salvation (4). Jesus now dwells in your spirit and as you walk with Him daily, He will lead you into a life beyond anything you could imagine (5).

What has happened to you?

All your sins have been forgiven, and eternal life is now yours! (6,7). Your name has been written in the Book of Life,8 and heaven will be your everlasting home (9). You are now a child of God (10) and have started a relationship with your Heavenly Father (11). This relationship will grow more meaningful and profound over time as you continue to seek to know the Lord.

Why did God save you?

God saved you because of His great love for you (12). All people are born into a sinful world and need a Savior (13). Good works cannot save us—salvation is by God’s grace through faith (14). Jesus paid the full price for our sins when He shed His blood and died on the cross (15).

PRAYER:

“Father, thank You for the unimaginable love and grace You have shown me. Thank You for forgiving me and for giving me a new life in Christ. Help me understand Your Word and grow closer to You day by day.”
