• What ungodly law did St. Valentine oppose and how did he oppose it?

• What price did he pay for standing for righteousness and marriage?

• How does St. Valentine’s life represent true, self-sacrificing love?

7th - 8TH GRADE

This year for 7th and 8th grade Quest will be delving into Proverbs, exploring how to apply biblical wisdom to everyday life. Our goal is to build a strong relationship with God and make Jesus our anchor as we navigate life.

Humility Needed? (Proverbs 3:5-12) | Week 1

• When you read, “never depend on your own ideas and inventions,” this doesn’t mean not to have ideas or inventions. How do you reconcile this with the first half of verse 5?

• In verse 6, notice how to include God in your accomplishments. Giving Him credit can be don inwardly was well as outwardly. What promise does He give in return?

• Were you ever deceived about something you thought was okay to do? What happened?
