FAMILY DISCUSSION STARTERS

  • Do you see any fruit of the Spirit in your family members? If so, what fruit?

  • Talk about how you changed after becoming a believer?

  • As unbelievers sin controlled us, who is in control now?

5th GRADE

LESSON 3: CREATION

MEMORY VERSE: 2 Timothy 3:16-17
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

FAMILY DISCUSSION STARTERS

We are exploring each of the biblical time periods and asking the question, “What do we learn about God and His plan for us and the world?”

  • Read Genesis 1:26-27

    • What do we learn about God in these verses?

    • What do we learn about humans in these verses?

  • Read Genesis 2:7

    • What do we learn about how God created man?

    • How is this different than the way that God created the animals.

  • Read each of these verses and discuss the purpose that God had for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.

    • Genesis 2:9

    • Genesis 2:15

    • Genesis 3:8a
