FAMILY DISCUSSION GUIDE

  • Why do you think some people oppose the gospel?

  • What are you willing to risk to tell people about Jesus? Why?

  • Can anything stop God’s plan? (See Job 42:2.) How does that encourage you to trust and obey Him?

5th GRADE

BIBLE TIME PERIOD: SLAVERY AND EXODUS (Exodus 12-14)

  • How do each of these aspects of the Passover point us to Jesus and our redemption?

    • The Passover lamb

    • Blood on the doorposts

    • The Israelites escaped God’s judgment on the Egyptians

  • How did God lead His people out of Egypt in the day and in the night?

  • What does God say the Egyptians will see when He parts the Red Sea for the Israelites?
