KINDER - 4th GRADE

LESSON 1: God Created the World

MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 1:1

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

FAMILY DISCUSSION STARTERS:

  • What are some things God created? (Genesis 1-2)

  • What does it mean to bring God glory? (We can show people how awesome God is.)

  • How can you and your family bring glory to God this week?

5TH GRADE

LESSON: RETURN OF JESUS

MEMORY VERSE: Revelation 1:8

“‘I am the Alpha and Omega,’ says the Lord God, ‘who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.’”

FAMILY DISCUSSION STARTERS:

This week we reached the last time period on our biblical timeline as we explored the last days, the rapture of the Church, and Christ’s return to Earth to rule and reign forever!

  • In the first part of Revelation, John writes Jesus’ message to seven churches. Read Revelation 3:11-12. What are the promises that Jesus Makes to those who hold fast and overcome? (Read the first three chapters to find more promises!)

  • Read 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18. Paul describes the rapture and then says to comfort one another with these words. How do these words bring comfort to us?

  • Why is there no need for a temple in the new heavens and new earth? (Revelation 21:22)

6th GRADE

LESSON 3: WHO AM I?

MEMORY VERSE: Genesis 1:26-28

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

FAMILY DISCUSSION STARTERS

This week, we talked about what makes us us.

Take out a family photo album that shows your family throughout different years. Look at the pictures and talk about what looks different about you throughout the years.

Even though your bodies have changed, are you still you? Yes! What makes you you is your soul. Your soul is the you on the inside.

Spend some time as a family describing things you appreciate about each family member’s soul. Pray together, thanking God for creating each of you. Ask that He would help you to love Him and reflect Him to those around you.

7th - 8TH GRADE

This year for 7th and 8th grade Quest will be delving into Proverbs, exploring how to apply biblical wisdom to everyday life. Our goal is to build a strong relationship with God and make Jesus our anchor as we navigate life.

Wisdom Has Priceless Worth! (Proverbs 3:13-20) | Week 2

  • How are wisdom’s ways and paths described? (v.17)

  • What is wisdom’s price tag?

  • People can save money for something they are currently striving for. There is nothing wrong with this, but why do you think many don’t strive to gain wisdom? What could be holding them back?
