Faith is a humble but powerful part of Christianity. Faith is when you put your trust in what God is doing.

Faith is a humble but powerful part of Christianity. Faith is when you put your trust in what God is doing. You need to have faith to just let God take control of your life, to stand up for Jesus, but a lot of times we forget the power of faith.

Just go with God

So, if life is getting difficult, don’t try to fix it, just let God take control because he is way smarter than us.

If you are ever angry about why things are happening in your life, don’t get angry at God because he has a plan for you that you just can’t see yet. Have faith and hold strong because trials don't last forever. God loves you; he doesn’t want to make you angry, even though it might seem that way.

One day, I was looking out of my car, and I saw a bird flapping as hard as it could. He was struggling trying to fight against the wind, but he was a little bird, and he wasn’t going to get through the wind. Eventually, he just spread his wings like a kite and let the wind carry him in the direction the wind was going. This reminded me of us, as people, a lot of times we are trying to fight against God by sinning against Him. Then, we give our lives to him, and he carries us into where he wants us to be, not where we want to be. We overcomplicate this. We just need to trust God.

I had to put faith in God when my dad left to go to an island for a year. I was devastated, but it turned out that it would teach me a level of responsibility. It helped me become the person I am today. So, if life is getting difficult, don’t try to fix it, just let God take control because he is way smarter than us.

What can faith do?

Jesus said that we would do miracles like Him; we just need faith. (Acts 1:8) I like what it says in Matthew, Mark, and Luke,  “we shall enter the kingdom of the Lord as children”. This means that when we give our life to Jesus, we do as children, and follow without doubt.

Faith is one of the most important parts of Christianity. When you put your faith in Jesus, He can do miracles, but you need to believe in him. Several times in the Bible, after Jesus did a miracle, He would say, “Your faith has made you well”. (Mark 5:34; also Luke 17:19, Mark 10:52, and Luke 8:48)

We know that there is meaning to faith. In the Bible, some people put their faith in Jesus, like when a woman bled for 12 years and had found no cures, nothing healed her, but then she had one moment of faith when she touched Jesus’ garments, and she was completely healed. When I say completely, I don’t mean partially;  I mean that her bleeding halted in the presence and power of Jesus! ( Mark 5:25–34; also Matthew 9:20–22 and Luke 8:43–48) Does this not show the power of faith?

Jesus said that we would do miracles like Him; we just need faith. (Acts 1:8) I like what it says in Matthew, Mark, and Luke,  “we shall enter the kingdom of the Lord as children”. This means that when we give our life to Jesus, we do as children, and follow without doubt. We need to have faith in the people who are more experienced than us. So I encourage you to put your faith in the “Great I Am”.  As I said, with faith, miracles can happen.

One time, my dog who eats everything literally, ate a battery! Somehow, when I prayed and begged God to save him, he did! My dog survived. This just shows how God can do supernatural things when we believe in him. Life is sometimes very stressful, but we need to remember that we are in God’s great big hands and He will NEVER leave us or forsake us. So I push you to invest all of your faith in Jesus because He is a miracle worker!

Stand up for Jesus

Faith is needed to let God take control. Faith is needed in miracles. Lastly, faith is needed to stand up for Jesus!  All in all, have faith in God and His power.

Jesus has done and continues to do so much for us. He was whipped, mocked and beaten for us. Eventually, He died on the cross, but He rose again three days later, for us. (Matthew 27–28; also Mark 15–16, Luke 23–24, John 19–20, and 1 Corinthians 15:3–4) It is easy to say “Jesus is King” in church, because most of the people there share that belief as well. But when we are in public, it is much harder.

People might disagree with you. Jesus tells us to carry our cross as He did. (Luke 9:23; also Matthew 16:24 and Mark 8:34) Jesus told Peter that he would deny him 3 times before the rooster would crow, and it did happen. (Luke 22:54–62; also Matthew 26:69–75, Mark 14:66–72, and John 18:15–27)

The Bible tells us that we should “love the Lord with all our heart, mind, and soul”. (Deuteronomy 6:5 and Mark 12:30) I think that when you love the lord with all of these qualities, then we should stand up for him. If you had a best friend, would you stand up for them? It is sometimes hard to stand up for Jesus; you might get hate or get ridiculed, but in my opinion, it is all worth it for the glory of God.

I recently had a school project. I had to choose an American, do a whole report,  and a display about how he or she impacted the U.S. Well, I chose Charlie Kirk because of the impact he had on young people, and on Christianity. A lot of people didn’t like who I chose and often told me I should have picked someone else, but I knew that he was a supporter of Jesus Christ and that by choosing him for my projects, I was standing up for Jesus. Take a second and think of all the great blessings God has bestowed upon you. Jesus loves you, so can we love him back and stand up for Him!

Faith is needed to let God take control. Faith is needed in miracles. Lastly, faith is needed to stand up for Jesus!  All in all, have faith in God and His power.
