WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF DOOR CHURCH MOMS?  

Motherhood is challenging. The early years of raising small children can leave moms overwhelmed, vulnerable, and isolated. Shaping and teaching the minds of older kids can leave one questioning everything. The purpose of Door Church Moms is to meet moms wherever they are in their motherhood journey with the hope of the Gospel. This is accomplished by creating communities where moms can find connection and friendship, and are encouraged, equipped, and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. DCM is a place where moms can ask questions, have meaningful conversations, build confidence, and grow in their salvation. It addresses both the spiritual and practical needs of motherhood. 

What will DC MOMS look like at Door Church? 

We will be meeting twice a month during the school year with a break for the Christmas holidays. Meetings will last two hours, attendees take turns bringing food, and childcare will be provided. Each mom is assigned to a table with 6-7 other women for the whole year. Each table has a Table Facilitator and Mentor Mom, women who help guide our discussions and foster community and friendship, while challenging moms to dive deeper.

Who can attend DC Moms? 

If you are a mother and have a preschool age child (infant-5), then we want you! Space permitting, mothers of school aged children are welcome to attend. If we are at capacity, don’t worry! We will put you on our waitlist in case someone is unable to attend.

DOES IT COST TO ATTEND DOOR CHURCH MOMS?

There is a cost to attend DC Moms. Currently it is $100 per year (September through May) and is prorated when indicated. It includes childcare, DC Moms activities, resources, and more. There are a variety of options available if money is an issue and we are committed to finding creative solutions that allow moms to attend! What will childcare look like? 

Teaching and caring for your children in a safe, loving, and Christ-centered way is our number one priority. Children will be divided into classes similar to the structure of the childcare you experience in our church services. While you’re enjoying Door Church Moms, your children will also be enjoying a rich curriculum in DCM Kids that will teach them about Jesus, engage their minds, and be a whole lot of fun.
